Finally, an (unofficial) way to order an Uber towncar on your Windows Phone. Uber currently offers towncar service in San Francisco, New York, Seattle, Chicago, Boston, Paris, and DC. Summon one to your current GPS location, or pick another point on the map. Fares tend to be a few dollars more than a taxi.
Note that you must create an account at www.Uber.com first. Your location will be sent to the driver via text message, so your regular text rate applies.
