Recuva Description

Recuva (pronounced "recover") is a freeware Windows utility to restore files that have been accidentally deleted from your computer. This includes files emptied from the Recycle bin as well as images and other files that have been deleted by user error from digital camera memory cards or MP3 players. It will even bring back files that have been deleted by bugs, crashes and viruses.

xianglan on August 23,2011 Useful (0) Useless (0): I have long been looking for such a tool to help me recover the data I have mistakenly deleted. But all the other ones I ever tried. i have deleted some important pictures, but recuva helped me getting them back. Quite good software. Thank you!

exchange on August 03,2011 Useful (0) Useless (0): I had it use my Pictures folder, as one of the places to search. Even after setting .jpeg and .jpg files as files to search for, and selecting the option to search within folders up to 100 deep, it comes up with nothing when I enter the names for my pictures. When it does come up with some things, the results are poorly categorized (folders come up instead of the actual programs, etc.)

whatarewords on July 26,2011 Useful (0) Useless (0): Today I deleted the pictures I just photographed before I uploaded them to my PC. I had Recuva but never had an occasion to use it. It recovered the images no problem. I'm really happy I had the program when I needed it.

gogogi on July 06,2011 Useful (0) Useless (0): Recuva is really great and it has always recovered my lost data when I need it too. This is the only recover software that I use. All software's by Piriform are great and I use them all. I wish they had a lot more free software's to offer besides the ones that I already have.
