code on August 05,2011 Useful (3) Useless (0): Dropbox can secure my data and images well; it uses SSL for secure transfers, and encrypts all files with AES-256 before storing them on its servers. Public folders are viewable by anyone who can find them. Photo gallery links give access to anyone with whom i share the link to the gallery, though they cannot access other areas of my account.

lilies on August 03,2011 Useful (0) Useless (0): I’ve found Dropbox to be a handy tool for creating a file upload system on a website, and for text files- but it has a nasty bug with OS X files that are in package format (breaks them into their individual components- try the latest Quicken file format for example).

peatter on July 25,2011 Useful (0) Useless (0): dump files into it and autosync, my most updated files are IRC chat logs that save directly to it I highly recommend this software to users with multiple devices which need to be kept sync.
