Spybot was cutting edge years ago, but not anymore. I get a virus that appears to hijack Spybot and IObot System-Care Free and the virus tries to sell me its fix. When I run Spybot or IObot System-Care Free when inflicted with this virus these two programs appear to say everything is OK. This same virus won't let me use Microsoft Security Essentials (MSE) or Malwarebytes Anti-Malware Free so that and the insane pop-ups tell me I have this particular virus. Twice now. I found how to kill it but I would think updates would have prevented second infection. I use MSE, Malwarebytes Anti-Malware Free, and Avast Free for protection, and IOBot System-Care Free to keep my computer clean and more efficient.

This is a resource hog big time. I am running it on a Vista 3gb RAM 2.0 GHz duo core and my laptop is slowing down and freezing up some. When installing the program it changed my home page on my IE to google. I hate when program hijacks your home page.
