I have had zonealarm for a while now and all I can say is it is a great product. True i really do not need it since windows comes with a firewall but after using it for as long as I have and getting used to actually being alerted when there is a threat I can not see myself with anything else.

Top notch firewall and highly recommended. Warning, Do not try to run two firewalls at the same time. The initial training with any firewall is bit of a pain to put up with. However once you train the system to what can and can not go through. You will be pleasantly surprised IF you payed attention and answered those pop ups correctly. Many apps will access the internet these days and at the oddest times. Check the stats once in awhile and enjoy the warm fuzzy feeling as the intrusion counter increases and shows blocked.

Great firewall only software unless you want to pay for the full suite. Only problem i've seen a bit is with avg8 + zonealarm + firefox causes freezing in firefox. This was a problem i replicated on more than one computer. not sure yet about avg9 with it though. Just a forewarning. Otherwise have seen any other problems in over 3 years of use. -Happy and virus free!
