Simple, quite good working, but still you have to spend very much time, to understand it, ant tune it up. I would recommend rather Miranda because of it better customization and plugins. The only advantage of Pidgin over Miranda - if you use Linux/Mac and Windows you can install also version for these systems.

If you really have to chat, this takes them all (except Skype, and thank you for that). I have used it on Linux and Mac - and it is excellent. Good to see Linux tools make it to Windows gradually.
