This program can do very much (is really configurable/customizable), but it is not user friendly and you must spend much time to understand and tune program. Homepage is also not simple and sometimes you have to search very long for simple information.

This is a very nice program, and it is very configurable. Furthermore it is opensource, also for free, millions of plugins. Possible protocols are: icq, msn, yahoo, gadugadu, netsend, vkontakte.ru, facebook, studivz, and many many more. completely customizable, fully skinnable, small and fast program ! disadvantage: a bit too many options sometimes ;-)
