iRunFast is there to help you to think about the pace necessary for a particular finish time and vice versa.
Modes:
iRunFast has 2 modes: Simple and Advanced. In the Simple mode you just select your race distance from a list and a preferred pace. Your finish time is then calculated.
In the Advanced mode you have more flexibility as you can plan for any distance. You can split the race into legs and set a different pace for each leg. For example some people like to start slower and gradually increase the speed and then maintain it for the rest of the race. This is exactly the kind of thing you can do in the Advanced mode. Also, you will be presented with a pace chart showing the flow of the pace graphically.
Split Times:
Both of the modes support the Split Times feature. You will see split times you should try to aim for at each distance marker on the course. Depending on your setting it will be each kilometre or mile. Also, you can share this plan (and pace chart if in Advanced mode) with a friend using the in-built e-mail sharing feature.
Personal Best:
Keep track of your best times on different courses using the NEW Personal Best feature.
Additional information:
You can switch between pace in minutes per kilometre (min/km) and minutes per mile (min/mi) in Settings.
Happy running!
