Astro Snake takes full advantage of its mobile medium to provide players with lightening fast gameplay and multiple control options. The game also boasts vivid “arcade era” themed graphics. Your goal in Astro Snake is simple: Using a virtual joystick, d-pad, or touch pad you’re tasked with guiding your snake around a rectangular game field, strategically turning to avoid walls while simultaneously picking up eggs to rack up as many points as you can until they ultimately hit themselves or a wall.
To keep things fresh Astro Snake includes four unique eggs for players to eat. Each of these eggs has a different effect on the player’s snake. Some make the snake move faster or slower, while two others increase the snake’s length by either one or five links. New eggs will only appear once remaining eggs have been eaten and its up to you to react quickly and keep your ever-hungry snake safe as it gets longer, faster, and more difficult to navigate!
This is a fully featured iOS game in every sense of the word. Full Game Center integration means that competitive players are free to duel with other players online and chase glory on the game’s dedicated leaderboards. On the other hand friends can also play head-to-head locally on a single device, controlling two snakes on a single board and competing to see who screws up first and who gets the most points in the process!
