Tracker Booster Description

Tracker Booster is a small utility to help sports tracker applications (e.g. Endomondo) or Google Maps to get best possible GPS signal by keeping the GPS unit active in the background. Some phones have problems using e.g. Endomondo while not getting accurate GPS location info. Without and with Tracker Booster result images attached. Google Maps looses the GPS signal when phone falls into power saving mode. This application keeps the GPS busy so that Google Maps is always in correct location when you need it.

Retail: Understand what this doesIt's simple: GPS talks to satellites to get your location. It sometimes takes a while to sync up when you first turn it on, and it uses a lot of power while it's on. Google noticed that lots of people forgot to turn their GPS off and drained their batteries, so they decided to just turn the GPS off automatically if you weren't using it for even a second. This means you have to get that first-time lock again and again. This app just tells the GPS to stay on all the time. It doesn't boost anything else.
