Excellent productRecords, Edits, Save, Manages files.... does what you want in a fairly easy manner. Autogain and Quality recordings are consistent. Only complaint is minor - you can easily overwrite the last recording. So, as a habit, after recording something I start a "new" file, which auto-saves the immediate recording and starts a new file. Other than that little item, great app. When will you upgrade it for in-call recording?!!

Good UtilityA single track singer/songwriter guitar and vocals- single-take of an idea. Worked nice with piano/vocal too. Clean sound, occasional glitch with CPU load on a Galaxy Nexus.

Demo quality recording on the goI've recorded band practices, live concerts, and demos for myself and this program makes it easy to get a quick, decent quality recording. To be honest I don't much use the software for editing just because if I am going to put that much effort into a recording I would start with a more sophisticated setup but it is great that the option is there.
