ExcellentDoes the job perfectly. Raising the read-ahead buffer from 128 KB to 1024 KB boosted reading speed on a 32 GB Class 10 SD card in a Google Nexus One phone from 20 MB/s to 30 MB/s, a 50% speed increase. Larger buffers, like 2048, yielded no significant increase. Going from 768 to 1024 yielded only a 3% improvement. Measured with SD Tools.

This was the problem…  I ought to know better.   One major change at a time.   A few days ago, with internal memory getting too tight, I started moving a lot of my apps to the SD card, to free up some internal memory.  At the same time, I downloaded and installed SD–Booster.   I've spent the last few days fighting with some issues that I thought had to do with too many apps being on the SD card instead of in internal memory.  Missing icons, problems launching certain apps, and so on.   A few hours ago, I decided to try removing SD–Booster.  All of the aforementioned issues cleared up immediately, and I've had no more of these troubles.

Maybe I'm missin somethin?Is it me or these clowns really don't no what NEEDS ROOT means??? OH YEA!!! works great for my little LG Optimus by the way.
